Abortion Clinic Providing Surgical Abortions & More to Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce FL & Beyond

Our abortion clinic is here to help. Surgical abortion services are available up to 6 weeks from the first day of the last normal menstrual period. Vacuum aspirations are the safest surgical abortion procedure, and all of these procedures are performed by a women's health specialist with over 33 years of experience. Our OB/GYN has worked with abortion clinic owner Candace for more than two decades. Through this method, the pregnancy is terminated via gently suctioning the lining of the uterus and removing the products of the conception.

Non-surgical abortions may be an option depending on how far along you are in your pregnancy. To learn more about the abortion pill, please click here.

Before Your Appointment

  • Make sure to have a valid government ID that has both your picture and date of birth listed.
  • We only allow patients inside.  Please do not bring any children with you.
  • We accept Cash, ATM/debit cards, and credit cards (excluding American Express). We also accept apple/google pay.  We do not accept checks, and there is an additional fee if you are paying with a credit card.
  • Unfortunately, protesters will be present. They are not allowed onto our property and are limited to the sidewalk. We do have escorts in the parking lot that will walk you inside.

Postoperative Care

Once you have had your abortion, please take note of the following items to ensure a healthy healing period.

  • Please use pads (we recommend regular-size maxi pads) for one week after your procedure. Do not use tampons, as these can lead to infection.
  • You will need plenty of rest in the following days and should stay hydrated.
  • Do not pick up anything over ten pounds or engage in any strenuous activity or exercise. Swimming, bathing in the tub (showers are fine), douching, and sexual activity are also prohibited during this period.
  • Check your temperature over the next few days. It’s possible that it could be high, and even reach 100.4°F.
  • Bleeding after an abortion varies for all patients. In the first couple of days, you may not bleed at all only to then start cramping and bleeding later on. Bleeding is normal as long as it doesn’t exceed two pads in an hour.
  • You may pass blood clots in the coming days, with some being as large as a fifty-cent piece. Don’t be alarmed by this. If clots are bigger than that, then we ask that you call us.
  • Your body may not have a regular period again for three months.

If you have any questions or concerns following your procedure, please contact our abortion clinic. Patients who adhere to these rules should not have any problems. However, if you do have an issue, please contact our women’s health specialists serving Okeechobee, Port St. Lucie, Melbourne, and the surrounding Florida communities for assistance.
